Simply soak the owls for 20 minutes in water and then place in the storage jar with your sugar to maintain the moisture level for approximately 3 months. Can be used with raisins and dried fruit, marshmallows, baked goods, cakes, and cookies.
Try it in reverse with dry goods:
Use dry, without soaking, as a desiccant to absorb moisture and keep spices, salt, crackers, pretzels and chips dry and crispy! Just pop in oven to dry out.
